In an increasingly connected world, remote commerce continues to grow. According to Statista, retail e-commerce sales worldwide are projected to grow to 4.88 trillion US dollars in 2021.
EMVCo has developed the EMV® Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) Specification to help address rising fraud levels in global e-commerce while reducing consumer friction during online checkout when making card-based payments. This aligns with EMVCo’s goal to facilitate worldwide interoperability and acceptance of secure payment transactions.
In this educational session, Brian Byrne, EMVCo Director of Operations and Clinton Allen, Chair of the EMVCo SRC Working Group, will offer attendees insight into the current industry challenges that EMV® SRC addresses and the benefits for merchants, card issuers, payment networks, consumers and other stakeholders.
The session is co-located with ETA TRANSACT in Las Vegas and will take place on Thursday, 02 May 2019, from 14:00 – 17:00 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, in the Islander DEI room. Note that attendance is limited. Session attendees wishing to also register for the full ETA TRANSACT event, https://www.electran.org/events/etatransact/, receive a $150 discount with the following code: T19EMVco.
