Trademark Centre

EMVCo manages and licenses trademarks (EMVCo Marks) that indicate payment technology which uses and is aligned to the EMV® Specifications. This promotes confidence and trust in payment technology both in-store and for e-commerce transactions.

While it is not possible to eradicate counterfeit products completely, EMVCo Marks make it harder for malicious entities to falsely claim their products or services adhere to EMV Specifications or contain EMV functionality. The EMVCo Marks are trademarks or registered trademarks that are exclusively owned by EMVCo.
