EMVCo members worked jointly over the last few years to develop specifications that define a set of requirements to ensure worldwide interoperability and acceptance of secure payment transactions. It accomplishes this by managing and evolving the EMV® Specifications and related testing processes. Today there are EMV Specifications based on contact chip, contactless chip, common payment application (CPA), card personalisation, and tokenisation. There are also EMV documents and materials regarding mobile payments.
You can navigate across the sub-menu pages to view and/or download specification documents.
Please check the Specifications Bulletins section for specification updates.
Notice Bulletins such as the annual key length review can be found here.
